All members are required to have their photograph taken at the time of application to prevent fraudulent use of memberships.

Direct Debit Memberships

An Active Hartlepool direct debit membership is open to all, but concessionary rates are only applicable to Hartlepool residents who meet the eligibility criteria.

By signing up to a direct debit membership you are entering into an initial 3-month contract. After the initial 3 months the membership becomes a rolling contract until cancelled by the customer or Active Hartlepool.

If a direct debit membership payment is rejected at the bank, customers will have 7 days to bring their account up to date before their membership is cancelled.

Customers are required to give 30 days’ notice to cancel their membership. Cancellation can only be submitted by email to active.member@hartlepool.gov.uk
